Peter Butts 
Peter was born on September 1st, 1714 in St. Peter's Parish, New Kent Co., Virginia. Peter's father was Thomas Butts and his mother was Catherine McGehee. His maternal grandparents were William MackGehee and Mary Carr. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Daniel, John, Frances, Alice and Sarah.
