Catherine was born on July 6th, 1696 in Hanover Co., VA.  Catherine's father was William MackGehee and her mother was Mary Carr.  Her paternal grandfather was William MackGehee. She had three brothers named James, Samuel and Jacob.  She was the oldest of the four children.  She died at the age of 84 in 1780 in Hanover Co., VA.
