Daniel Butts 
Daniel was born on September 20th, 1729 in St. Peter's Parish, New Kent Co., Virginia. Daniel's father was Thomas Butts and his mother was Catherine McGehee. His maternal grandparents were William MackGehee and Mary Carr. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Peter, John, Frances, Alice and Sarah.
