James M. Butler 
James M. was born about 1818.1 James M.'s father was Augustine Butler and his mother was Nancy Crews. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Butler and Pricilla Anthony; his maternal grandparents were William Crews and Ursula ?. He had a brother and five sisters, named Benjah, Maria, Rosanna, Sarah Haley, Mary Ann and Nancy. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died due to Typhoid fever in September 1866 in Louisa Co., VA.2
