William Brockenbrough 
William was born on July 10th, 1778 in Essex Co., VA. William's father was John Brockenbrough and his mother was Sarah Roane. His paternal grandparents were William Brockenbrough and Elizabeth Fauntleroy; his maternal grandparents were William Roane and Sarah Upshaw. He had four brothers and a sister, named Thomas, John, Arthur Spicer, Austin and Lucy. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 60 on December 10th, 1838 in Richmond, VA.-
