William Anderson Bowles 
William Anderson was born on January 28th, 1913. William Anderson's father was Jesse Turpin Bowles and his mother was Lucy Tate Winston. His paternal grandparents were James Uriah Bowles and Lucy Susan Bowles; his maternal grandparents were Edward Gates Winston and Jane Elizabeth Duval. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Robert Turpin, James Edwin, Ila Williams, Janie Roberta, Annie Winston, Lucy Kathleen and Mary Louise. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 65 on February 14th, 1978.-
