Janie Roberta Bowles 
Janie Roberta was born on July 17th, 1903. Janie Roberta's father was Jesse Turpin Bowles and her mother was Lucy Tate Winston. Her paternal grandparents were James Uriah Bowles and Lucy Susan Bowles; her maternal grandparents were Edward Gates Winston and Jane Elizabeth Duval. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Robert Turpin, William Anderson, James Edwin, Ila Williams, Annie Winston, Lucy Kathleen and Mary Louise. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 65 on February 7th, 1969.-
