Thomas Elliott was born on July 29th, 1832 in Warren Co., Mississippi. Thomas Elliott's father was John Alexander Bolling and his mother was Lucy Burwell Randolph. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Pryor Bolling and Nancy Willis Elliott; his maternal grandparents were Edward Randolph and Margaret Turnbull. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Samuel Edward, John Alexander, Robert Randolph, William Elliott, Richard, Frederick, David, Edward Randolph and Margaret Ann. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 78 on March 18th, 1911 in Edna, Jackson Co., TX.-
