John Alexander Bolling 
John Alexander was born on April 1st, 1834. John Alexander's father was John Alexander Bolling and his mother was Lucy Burwell Randolph. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Pryor Bolling and Nancy Willis Elliott; his maternal grandparents were Edward Randolph and Margaret Turnbull. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Samuel Edward, Thomas Elliott, Robert Randolph, William Elliott, Richard, Frederick, David, Edward Randolph and Margaret Ann. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 28 on October 3rd, 1862.-
