Reuben Blankenship 
Reuben was born in 1760 in Campbell Co., Virginia. Reuben's father was Hudson Blankenship and his mother was Edith Wilkinson. His paternal grandparents were John B. Blankenship and Elizabeth Hudson; his maternal grandfather was John Wilkinson. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Daniel, Archibald, Henry, Jesse, Prudence, Levi, Jacob, Sally, Edith, Obedience, Leauraney, Elizabeth and Nancy. He was the third oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 90 on October 27th, 1850 in Shelby Co., Alabama.-
