William C. Banister 
William C. was born on January 9th, 1809. William C.'s father was John Monro Banister and his mother was Mary Burton Augusta Bolling. His paternal grandparents were John Banister and Anne Blair; his maternal grandparents were Robert Bolling and Mary Burton Bolling. He had two brothers and six sisters, named John Monro, Robert B., Mary Burton, Emily C., Augusta Bolling, Ann, Euretta B. and Helen T.. He died at the age of 55 on June 9th, 1864 in Civil War, defense of Petersburg. He was buried in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, VA.-
