Ada Askew 
Ada was born on February 29th, 1888 in Hanover Co., VA. Ada's father was Silas Askew and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Ellen Edwards. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Askew and Nancy Stanley; her maternal grandparents were William T. Edwards and Lucinda M. Hall. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Joseph Vent, Silas Bane, Bertie and Eary. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 67 on February 7th, 1956.-
