William S. Armistead 
William S. was born on March 21st, 1789. William S.'s father was John Armistead and his mother was Mary Ann Spencer. His paternal grandparents were William Armistead and Frances ?; his maternal grandfather was Sharp Spencer. He had three brothers named Thomas S., James Anderson and John H.. He was the oldest of the four children. He died after 1850.-
