Drury Lacy was born about 1840. Drury Lacy's father was James Anderson Armistead and his mother was Elizabeth D. Howard. His paternal grandparents were John Armistead and Mary Ann Spencer; his maternal grandfather was William Howard. He had four sisters named Elvira L., Sarah, Lucy J. and Louisa A.. He was the youngest of the five children. He died on March 22nd, 1911.-
