Samuel C Mitchell 
Samuel C was born in 1829 in Washington, Tennessee, USA. Samuel C's father was *James Allison Mitchell and his mother was *Margaret Esther Collom. His paternal grandparents were *Robert Mitchell and *Elizabeth A Allison; his maternal grandparents were *Jonathan Collom and Martha Seigneur. He had six brothers and a sister, named Robert Allison, *Jonathan C, Luther C, James Allison, Alexander C, Isaac Bennett and Sarah Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 40 in April 1869.-
