Jesse Gatlin 
Jesse was born in 1769 in North Carolina, USA.1 Jesse's father was *Lazarus Gatlin and his mother was *Sarah Sally Lucas. His paternal grandparents were *Edward Gatlin and Elizabeth Reel; his maternal grandparents were *Charles Lucas and *Kathleen Annie Kawood. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William, Enoch, Edmond, Thomas G, Nathan Marion, Lazarus, Charity, Nancy Holland and Polly Mary. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 70 in 1839 in Hopkins, Kentucky, USA.-
