Charity Gatlin 
Charity was born in 1767 in Davie, North Carolina, USA. Charity's father was *Lazarus Gatlin and her mother was *Sarah Sally Lucas. Her paternal grandparents were *Edward Gatlin and Elizabeth Reel; her maternal grandparents were *Charles Lucas and *Kathleen Annie Kawood. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named William, Jesse, Enoch, Edmond, Thomas G, Nathan Marion, Lazarus, Nancy Holland and Polly Mary. She was the second oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 83 in 1850 in Jackson, Illinois, USA.-
