Александър was born on March 23rd, 1883.  Александър's father was Михал Рачов and his mother was Ефросина Рачова.  His paternal grandparents were Рачо? and Донка Р. Димитрова; his maternal grandparents were Стоянчо(Стефан) Пенев (Пенювич) Ахтар and Киряки Стоянова Пенева. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Илия, инж. Радослав, Илия, Андони, Недялка /Киряки and Златка.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 62 in 1945.
