Весела was born in May 1876 in Велико Търново.  Весела's father is Тодор Минчев and her mother is Винития Минчева.  Her maternal grandparents are Ив. Ешекчоолу (Шекерджоглу) and Анастасия Ив. Егискчоолу. She had a brother and a sister, named Атанас and Кинка.  She died at the age of 28 in August 1904.
