Pieter Christiaan de Jager

Pieter was born in 1727 and his christening took place on July 20th, 1727 in Stellenbosch, Cape Of Good Hope, South Africa.¹

Pieter's father was Carel de Jager and his mother was Magdalena de Jager (Malherbe). His paternal grandparents were Pieter Christiaan de Jager and Hermina de Jager (Karels); his maternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Gideon, Carel, Johannes, Martha, Magdalena and Maria. He was the oldest of the seven children. He had a half-sister named Hester. He died at the age of 43 in 1770.
