Anne was born in 1855.  Anne's father was Rom and her mother was Anne Tobine Olsen (Hagen).  Her maternal grandparents were Hagen and Anne Marie Rom (Oftebro). She had four brothers and four sisters, named Oluf, Tobias, Ole, Ole, Anne, Maren, Oline and Oline.  She was the oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 50 in 1905.
