Peter was born in 1924.  Peter's father was Bert Elliot and his mother was Eleanor (Beth) Elizabeth Elliot (Clayton).  His maternal grandparents were George Adams Clayton and Annie Clayton (Hogg). He had two brothers and a sister, named Robin, Non and Gavin.  He died at the age of 47 in 1971.
