John Anderson Wynn

John Anderson was born on October 28th, 1869 in Zanesville, Guernsey Cty, OH..¹ John Anderson's father was Thomas Jefferson Wynn and his mother was Violet McFarland Gist. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Wynn and Jean Fulton McQuiston. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named William Perry, Harrison Elsworth, Thomas Jefferson, George C., George Halderman, Harley Murton, Sarah Maria, Emma Jane, Sarah Alice, Margaret Frances, Mary Ann, Minnie Bell and Della May. He died at the age of 79 on November 23rd, 1948 in Iola, Allen Co., KS.

  lived on farm (leased around Carlyle,Dunlop farm, Dunlop lived in town
  north of harley and Naomi ) then moved to town, the moved over by Ruby
  and Delmer's home.
  Came because they were giving away land, with the land runs. that brought
  John's group and Violets group to Kansas they met around the Paola area
  
  1. John A. Wynn was b. in the twp. that they lived in s were most people
  during that time and up past the 1900s. His b. is the only one that is
  recorded in Guernsey Co. Few families that lived way out in the rural
  area came to town to report a birth. And prob. Thomas J. happened to be
  
  in Cambridge & recorded the birth even some months after it occurred.
  That is a common problem in research.
