Male Samuel Lee Silverthorne

Samuel Lee was born on November 7th, 1880 in Whortonville, North Carolina, United States.1   Samuel Lee's father was William Washington Sr Silverthorne and his mother was Annie Elizabeth Saunders.  His paternal grandparents were Frederick B Silverthorne and Clarissa Cuttrel McCotter; his maternal grandparents were John William Sr Sanders and Nancy Elizabeth Alexander Harris. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Frederick, John W, John W., Samuel, James Jim Gideon, William Washington Jr, Mary B., Ann Bryan (Molly), Francis Virginia and Nancy Emmaline Lina.  He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 84 on June 9th, 1965 in Asheville, Buncombe, North Carolina, United States.2
