Female Martha McCotter

Martha was born on August 13th, 1881 in Pamlico Co., NC.1   Martha's father was William Richard McCotter and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth Brite.  Her paternal grandparents were Barney and Susan A Fulsher; her maternal grandparents were Anson Brite and Martha Bright?. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Saint Elmo, Shade (Shadrack), Susan Matilda and Lucy Jane.  She was the second oldest of the five children. She had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William Richard, Richard Earl, Annie Elizabeth Luvenia (Minnie), Annie, Sadie Lorraine and Sadie.  She died at the age of 2 on August 12th, 1884 in Pamlico, North Carolina, United States.2
