William S. Hawke

William S. was born in 1848 in Robeson Twp., Berks Cty., PA. William S.'s father was William H Hawk and his mother was Jane L. Syphard. His paternal grandparents were Edward Hawke and Rebecca Wynn. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John S., Edward, Robert Thomas, Jane Elizabeth and Anne Barton. He was the fifth oldest of the six children. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Peter, John, Simon, Elizabeth, Catherine, Caroline and Catharine. He died at the age of 91 in 1939 in Pottstown, Montgomery Cty., PA..
