Stephen Greenwell

Stephen was born about 1687 in St. Mary's Co., MD.¹ Stephen's father was James Greenwell and his mother was Grace Taylor. His paternal grandparents were John Greenwell and Mary Knowland; his maternal grandparents were Henry Taylor and Faith Campbell. He had nine brothers and three sisters, named John, John, James, Justinian, Ignatius, Charles, Henry, Thomas, William, Grace, Mary and Jane. He was the eighth oldest of the thirteen children. He died in 1757 in St. Mary's Co., MD.²
