Ignatius Greenwell

Ignatius was born about 1685 in St. Mary's Co., MD.¹ Ignatius' father was James Greenwell and his mother was Grace Taylor. His paternal grandparents were John Greenwell and Mary Knowland; his maternal grandparents were Henry Taylor and Faith Campbell. He had nine brothers and three sisters, named John, John, James, Justinian, Stephen, Charles, Henry, Thomas, William, Grace, Mary and Jane. He was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children. He died on January 9th, 1724 in St. Mary's Co., MD.²
