John Greenwell

John was born about 1676 in St. Mary's Co., MD.¹ John's father was James Greenwell and his mother was Grace Taylor. His paternal grandparents were John Greenwell and Mary Knowland; his maternal grandparents were Henry Taylor and Faith Campbell. He had nine brothers and three sisters, named John, James, Justinian, Ignatius, Stephen, Charles, Henry, Thomas, William, Grace, Mary and Jane. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. He died in July 1741 in St. Mary's Co., MD.²
