Linton Wayne Lee

Linton Wayne was born on April 27th, 1898 in Zwolle, Sabine, LA, USA. Linton Wayne's father was Osceola Linton Lee and his mother was Alice May Alsobrooke Craig. His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel E. Lee and Susan Agnes Carroll; his maternal grandfather is John Craig and his maternal grandmother was May Alsobrooke. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Frank Blewett, Percy, Clarence Craig, William Edward, George Carroll, Osceola Ola May, Bernice Mildred, Alice Fawn and Nellie Agnes. He had a half-brother named Paul Lynn. He died at the age of 57 on February 29th, 1956 in Leesville, Vernon, LA, USA. He was buried on March 2nd, 1956 in Leesville, Vernon, LA, USA.

  On March 22, 2001 Arthur WIlliams related to us that he remembers Grandpa Lee teaching a sunday school class and that on one occasion he taught a lesson about it being OK to lie when a man's life was in danger by another man, it could be considered to be OK to lie about the man's whereabouts if you felt that telling so would cause the man harm. He said that made a distinct impression on him.
