Vera was born on November 8th, 1895.  Vera's father was Charles James Newey and her mother was Gertrude Louisa Findlay.  Her maternal grandparents were Henry(Harry) Alexander Findlay and Jane Watson. She had two sisters named Elsie and Ruby.  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died at the age of 56 on January 13th, 1952.
