Emmerentia Frederika van Blerk 
Emmerentia Frederika was born on May 10th, 1910 in Kroonstad. Emmerentia Frederika's father was Louise Andries van Blerk and her mother was Martha Johanna Elizabeth Raubenheimer (van Blerk). Her paternal grandparents were Jan Carel van Blerk and Johanna Christina Frederika Klingbeil; her maternal grandparents were Johannes Adam Raubenheimer and Evon Francina van der Heever (Raubenheimer). She had a brother and two sisters, named Johan Carel, Johanna Frederika Christina and Louisa Adriana. She was the second oldest of the four children.-
