Rosina Johanna Hendrina was born in 1856 in Cape of Good Hope. Rosina Johanna Hendrina's father was Adriaan Carel Steensma and her mother was Rosina Johanna Hendrina van Blerk (Steensma). Her maternal grandparents were Rogier Bernhadus van Blerk and Martha Basina Dorothea van de Kaap. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Jan Willem, Carel Rosier Bernardus, Philip Christiaan, Philip Jan Hendrik, Rozier Bernardus, Aletta Geertruyda Willemina, Johanna Hendrina, Magdalena Christina and Wilhelmina Rosina. She died at the age of 40 in 1896.General Notes
