Timothy was born on November 11th, 1834 in Shelfanger.  Timothy's father was William FARROW and his mother was Susan BALE.  His maternal grandparents were Timothy BALE and Mary CLARKE. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Walter, Matilda and Ruth.  He was the second youngest of the five children.
