George DENCE

George was born in 1823 in Lynsted, Kent. George's father was John DENCE and his mother was Mary EPPS. His paternal grandparents were Robert DENCE and Ann JUDGES; his maternal grandparents were George EPPS and Martha. He had two brothers and five sisters, named John, Gerard, Eliza, Mary Ann, Matilda, Martha Elizabeth and Agnes. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
