Sarah was born in 1824 in Portsmouth, UK.  Sarah's father is William CHOWN and her mother is Sarah WILLIAMS.  Her paternal grandparents are Charles CHOWN and Joan CAMPION [CAMPING]; her maternal grandparents are James WILLIAMS and Hannah STEWARD. She had three brothers and three sisters, named William, Thomas, George, Mary, Maria and Margaret.  She died at the age of 78 in 1902 in Southampton District.
