George's father is William CHOWN and his mother is Sarah WILLIAMS.  His paternal grandparents are Charles CHOWN and Joan CAMPION [CAMPING]; his maternal grandparents are James WILLIAMS and Hannah STEWARD. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William, Thomas, Mary, Sarah, Maria and Margaret.
