Thomas Tong was born in 1825 in Frindsbury, Kent.  Thomas Tong's father was Thomas Tongue BOULDEN and his mother was Sarah BANKS.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Tonge BOULDEN and Elizabeth PEIRCE. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Dennis, David, George Robert, Sarah and Esther.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 67 on May 3rd, 1892 in Boughton Monchelsea, Kent.  He was buried on May 7th, 1892 in Boxley, Kent.
