Stephen Walter was born in 1806 in Chart-Next-Sutton Valence, Kent, England.  Stephen Walter's father was Thomas Tonge BOULDEN and his mother was Elizabeth PEIRCE.  His paternal grandparents were David BOULDEN and Sarah STANLEY. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named John Tongue, Thomas Tongue, David, Charles Frederick, William Edward, Denis, Edwin, George Robert, Caroline Butler, Sarah, Harriot, Elizabeth Pierce, Mary Ann and Hesther.  He died at the age of 13 in 1819 in Chart-Next-Sutton Valence, Kent, England.  He was buried on September 21st, 1819 in Chart-Next-Sutton Valence, Kent, England.
