Addison Courtis Johnston

Addison was born on February 5th, 1887 in Farlington, Crawford County, Kansas. Addison's father was Solomon Johnston and his mother was Alice (Dora) Glendora Clifford. His paternal grandparents were Herndon Courtis Johnston and Mary Ann Jones. He had four brothers and six sisters, named John, Earnest, Carl, Lawrence, Lenorah, Mary, Elizabeth, Alice, Ida and Florence. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, tuberculosis, at the age of 34 on January 16th, 1922 in Sanitarium, Swink, CO. He was buried in Rocky Ford, CO, Block 23, Plot 3, Space E.
