Micajah  was born on October 12th, 1814.  Micajah 's father was Joseph Clifford and his mother was Susannah Wells.  His paternal grandparents were John Clifford and Rachel Gray; his maternal grandparents were James Wells and Rachel Horn. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Ahirah, James, John, Green, Abner , Addison, Rachel , Elizabeth, Matilda and Susannah.  He was the third oldest of the eleven children.  He died in 1814 in Rowan County, North Carolina.
