Henry was born about 1439 in Of, Badley, Suffolk, England.  Henry's father was Simon (Symon) POLEY and his mother was Margaret (Margery) ALCOCKE.  His paternal grandparents are Richard POLEY and Margaret (Mary) BLYANT; his maternal grandfather is Edmund ALCOCKE. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Edmund, George, Simon, Thomas, Margery, Elizabeth, Anne and Isabell.  He died in 1487.
