Ernest William was born on September 27th, 1878 in Brucefield Ont Can.  Ernest William's father was William BURTON and his mother was Sara Ann TAYLOR.  His paternal grandparents are William BURTON and Philadelphia MESSENGER; his maternal grandparents are Thomas TAYLOR and Esther ACKLAND. He had three brothers named William Arthur, Fred and George Ackland.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 50 on September 13th, 1929.
