Charles was born in year 1865 in Templestowe.  Charles' father was Edwin F Bullock and his mother was Mary Ann Pearce.  His paternal grandparents were James G Bullock and Mary Tamblyn; his maternal grandparents were  William Pearce and  Rebecca Weekes.  He was the fifth of seven children.  He had two brothers and four sisters, named Ernest, William, Mary, Saville, Jane and Edith.  He died, at the age of 2 years, in year 1867 in Templestowe.
