William was born in year 1802 in St Enoder, Cornwall. William's father was Thomas Pearce and his mother was Ann Clemow. His paternal grandparents were William Pearce and Ann Bullock; his. He was the oldest of three children. He had two brothers named Thomas and Nicholas. He died, at the age of 75 years, in year 1877 in St Enoder, Cornwall.
Mary was born in year 1836 in Fraddon and was baptised on February 2nd, 1836. She died, at the age of 85 years, on April 12th, 1921 in East Doncaster, Victoria. Her burial was on April 13th, 1921 in Box Hill Cemetary.
