Hugh was born in year 1694 in Probus, Cornwall and was baptised on March 11th, 1694. Hugh's father was Richard Bullock. His paternal grandparents were John Bullock and Katherin Trethewi; his. He was the third of seven children. He had five brothers and a sister, named John, Richard, Andrew, Thomas, Peter and Ann. He died, at the age of 76 years, in May 1770. His burial was on June 1st, 1770.
Hugh and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on December 23rd, 1722 in St Columb Major, Cornwall. They had a son and a daughter, named Hugh and Mary.
