Thomas was born in August 1699 in Probus, Cornwall and was baptised on August 15th, 1699. Thomas' father was Richard Bullock. His paternal grandparents were John Bullock and Katherin Trethewi; his. He was the fifth of seven children. He had five brothers and a sister, named John, Richard, Hugh, Andrew, Peter and Ann.
