Hugh was born in July 1728 in St Columb Major, Cornwall and was baptised on July 13th, 1728. Hugh's father was Hugh Bullock and his mother was Mary Day. His paternal grandparents were Richard Bullock and <Unknown>; his. He was the oldest of two children. He had a sister named Mary. He died, at the age of 33 years and 7 months, in February 1762. His burial was on February 3rd, 1762.
