Vilma's father was Pál Asbóth and her mother was Julianna Dombi.  Her paternal grandparents were István Asbóth and Katalin Szabó. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Lajos, Lídia, Lajos, Zsófia, Ilona and Mária.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Pál, Pál, Erzsébet, Julianna, Julianna and Zsófia.
