Éva's father was György Asbóth and her mother was Erzsébet Balázs.  Her paternal grandparents were György Asbóth and Anna Milos. She had a brother and two sisters, named Imre, Erzsébet and Erzsébet.  She was the youngest of the four children. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Erzsébet, Ferenc, János, Imre, Katalin, Rozália and Terézia.
